    Yeah you'll want better for a system as good as that. It's not as if the PSU makes up the bulk of the cost anyway. Don't forget to include the cost of the case though!

    i did but i was too stupid to include processor lol its above them and a blank line separates them stoopid me.

    is newegg.com definitely the best place or is it ok to shop around as long as product is the same? sorry still bent on minimizing costs lol

    If you read the last couple of pages theres pretty much the pc your looking for. They told me everything to buy. Priced out its around 1200 but in a couple of weeks it would be 1000 with the proceser drop and then all the rebates not factered in its about 800-900 dollars!!

    how long will taht price drop for the processor last?

    the AMD 3800x2 is going to be about 169.00 July 25th so theres a start for the CPU.

    Newegg is better than any other store generally. Wish we had a one-stop shop like that in the UK!
    The price drop won't end, it'll stay that low until it's lowered again.

    It's not just some special offer period, it's a price break, drop, crash, whatever you like to call it, in the same sense as console price drops, when they drop from £250 to £170 the day after you buy them, that sort of thing.

    Oh i see thats much better. it means i can spend more time thinking about whether or not i wanna shell out the cash for it. thx for all ur help

    im probably gonna need a monitor too. a 17 in. would be fine maybe 19 in.. Anyway i could get some more suggestions? >_>

    Viewsonic VX924! lol, anything with 8ms or less response time, 300cd/m2 brightness or more, and 500:1 or more contrast...
    Performance is good though, if you can afford it!

    Hey, dont do it half assed. get a 19" u wont regret it..
    and their are some HansG with 8ms DVI and 700-1 over at tigerdirect for 150.00 and its a 19" my mom has 1 and they ARE huge.. and they look pretty good 2.

    yeah.. but what about what i said?
    i know viewsonic is good.. but you could get 2 of those hanns G's for 1 of those viewsonics.. and its 8ms..
