    @ aabbccdd Yeah I liked AnyDVD, but the version I was using didn't get around Sony Arcoss. Apparently the new beta version does. I mainly use DVD Region+CSS Free because it was a given to me by a friend. It's worked well so far. It cuts out annoying adverts and gets around Sony Arcoss no prob. Nero Recode kicks the crap out of DVD Shrink. I know they were developed by the same person. Nero is a lot faster though. But hey DVD Shrink is still excellent freeware. How has posting pics of girls got you in trouble? Lemme guess conservative people reporting offensive posts? I don't think I've ever got one. The only time I insult people is if they lecture me on piracy or insult me first.

    @ binkie7 Thanks for the encouragement. You're right, it's nice to have someone, but you do have to sacrifice a lot. I just took that test again and got a different category, ESJF this time. Well that makes sense, I originally took it around a year ago. I've changed a lot in the last year, almost all for the better. I'm more confident, wiser, unafraid of hard work, and best of all weed/alcohol free. I quit drinking around 3 years ago, and quit smoking a year ago. I have a feeling good things are around the corner. It's good to have a feminine presence here on AD, it seems like 90% of the members are men. Cheers!

    How accustomed are you guys to using Avi2DVD or The Film Machine? I am trying to convert FFVII: Advent Children to DVD. Normally I'd just Nero Vision 4 no prob, but I have FFVII:AC in Jap with English subs and Nero Vision doesn't support subs. I've tried Avi2DVD and that doesn't let me select the an audio output stream. I tried the Film Machine, I set everything up and had it encode last night as I slept, but it was still running when I woke up today, and hadn't even converted the audio completely! I cancelled that. I "acquired" a copy of CCE encoder. Is there another program I should be using, or am I simply doing something wrong with these two? Thanks.

    You're right it is my choice. I'm willing to give up my freedom for someone worthwhile. If you enjoy spending time with someone, you're really not giving anything up. You're gaining a friend, lover, and, confidant. It'll happen in time. Cheers!

    I just realized the friend, lover, and confidant line is a lyric from a 50 cent song lol.

    Not too keen on rap myself. Seems like a lot of people with a bad attitude, who cannot sing.

    Why do they have to have offensive lyrics? The only rap song I ever liked was Rapture by Blondie. Crikey, I am showing my age!

    I grew up listening to rap and R&B. I've always liked it. I went through a little wannabe thug phase when I was younger. I realize how pointless that life style is now. I still like to listen to rap though. Nowadays it's okay, but I prefer older Biggie, 2pac, Outkast, Bone, Eminem, and Cash Money. Mainly I listen to R&B. It's good for the old anger. You guys will probably laugh, but I listen to a lot of Boyz II Men, 112, and Jagged Edge. I also listen to a lot of music from anime and what not. What kind of music do you guys like? I'm pretty sure that the "great minds think alike" was a joke. At least I hope it was. Cheers!

    I grew up listening to classical music. My favourite (sounds childish!) singer is Andrea Bocelli. His voice is awesomely stunning! Way better than Pavoritti!

    I also love trance. What a mixture!

    I'm into Rap, RnB, Soul, Reggae, Dance and some rock. With the rock when I say some I mean only a few songs are ok. U2 aren't a bad band and I respect Bono for his help in 3rd world countries. But artists like Slipknot and Marilyn Manson and the death metal genre or what ever it's called is something I hate.

    @Tokijin - I won't laugh at 112. Slim is one of the best R&B singers in the world!

    @Tokijin

    To use the TFM/CCE you might want to follow the guide on their website.
    http://members.home.nl/thefilmmachine/
    It's pretty straight foward and the quality is excelent.
    IMO CCE is without of doubt the best encoder ever...
    AVI2DVD is quite accurate as well, altough it doesn't seem to want to let CCE work for some reason... Try the built in encoders like HCenc.

    I hate that RnB Rap thing, makes no sense to me BUT i do like heavy metal a lot... Since i moved into my filks i've been listening to my old man's tunes... He likes the old opera thinghy like Pulsar, although he doesn't rate Bocelli as high as Pavarotti, Corelli or even Lanza... He's got a clip somewhere of Corelli hitting a sequence of high G's live, it's quite impressive i must admit...
