Yeah I listen to all types of different music. Thanks for TFM/CCE guide Permiggs. CCE beats the crap out of the Freeware encoders. I got TFM to convert to FFVII: Advent Children to DVD, but the subs were too big! I'm not encoding it again anytime soon. It's still watchable, just a little hairy at points. I'll pass on the Playgirl pics. That gets my homophobia jumping off the gaydar err... radar. Cheers!

Yeah that kid is 16 and doesn't like people to be proven wrong. I do prefer Nero Recode 2 to DVD Shrink, but it does cost money in most cases *cough cough* and he's not adding anything functional to that thread. The sad reality for AD is that there are an ever increasing number of people who single out one post and try to assert they more than you on that particular subject. I've dealt with a lot of that in the PS2 forums recently and 90% of the time I hold back. If I wanted to, I could shame everyone who's ever done that to me, because I know more about the PS2, modchips, and burning games than 95% of people on this site. It's an annoyance to be sure. I think you did the right thing. If other people see you take the high road when someone tries to insult you, it sends a message. You're conscientious and secure enough in your knowledge of that subject that you don't need to get riled up everytime someone questions you.

@ Ireland Lol. Well you what know they say, carrots are good for your eyes.

I don't mind him stepping in with his opinion but don't beat around the bush telling me what I posted is useless.

Lol. That's a cool sig by the way. C'mon all the idiots can't be relegated to the game forums. Little Timmy and Billy need to harass everybody equally. You guys don't want to hear the clever retorts like "I know it's not the media" or "you're stupid, I'm 14" lol.

Well I don't have to much oppistion nowadays. Most people know I know what I'm talking about as far as the PS2. I'll post some examples, if you're interested.

Let's see people lecturing on piracy: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/273305

This one is great, the kid tries to tell me I have no idea what I'm doing to get of Legend of Mana to work, when I wasted like 20 CD-R's on it: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/232455#1739343

    CMC Mag Lovers: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/9/240341

In most instances people I've helped or friends come to my aide. Not that I need it, but it's good to know. No matter how much you try to be nice to people, there will be those that look to pounce on you because of their own low self esteem and issues. I was picked on alot growing up, so I can relate. It's almost always teenagers that start the BS. Does that hold for the non gaming forums as well?

i can quite happily comment that the other forums have a few of the know-it-all types. they are really annoying just as much if they were sat next to you in class/work/wherever being a know-it-all (that doesn't in fact know-it-all). the worst ones single you out and keep going until you fail to reason with their twisted deluded 'points of view' and they always end up being banned. if/when they sign up with a new username they're always found out again as they don't know how to communicate with others in a mature fashion
