Hello guys,

anyone in here think they might have enough time to make me a new sig?

as you can see my one at the moment is a bit out dated as both Henry and Ljungberg have left Arsenal!

Henry going to Barcelona, and Ljungberg going to West Ham

Just wondering if someone could hook me up with another Arsenal sig?

it's a volunteer operation, like anything on this forum is. just because you ask doesn't mean you'll receive.

if you really want a sig, the best thing to do is make one yourself.

there's no set way to make a sig.

the simplest method would be to find an image you like (that fits within the sig parameters) and do a direct link to it in your sig box.

you can do basic things, like resizing, cropping, and simple text with MS Paint.

for my sigs, i use Photoshop. typically, i start with a furry character (jessica, a creation of jeremy bernal, in this one), cut the figure out, create a background from scratch or find one that i like, paste them together, do text, and lighting effects/shadowing, and i'm done.

different method for everybody, depending on what you're doing.

GIMPShop is based on the GIMP, a free imaged editing program, with a very similar feel to Photoshop. i recommend playing around in that.

also, if you're enrolled in any schools, most offer some kind of basic CGI classes. i had two semesters' worth in high school.

*edit*
remember, kids. sig images must be 50 kb or less in total. if they are 500x100 pixels or smaller, you are allowed three additional lines of text around your image. beyond that, you are not allowed any text, and blank lines *do* count as text. the maximum allowed size is 500x200 pixels.
