I bought the 1200rpm version from Specialtech on 18/01/2007, which came with the 7V and 5V adapters like it should, and I bought the 800rpm from Overclockers on 15/02/2007, which came with the 7V adapter, like it should. I also bought the 80mm Noctua from overclockers on 18/01 and don't recall it coming with either adapter.
Lmao showoff... Come a month's time though, you'll have sold that PC and will be back to a crummy old celeron desktop, whereas my PC will still be as it is now, if not better!
the monitor i bought was £35 cheaper on ebuyer, rather than OcUK, BUT OcUK guarranty an M-VA panel, and if anythign goes wrong, they talk with digimate personally on your behalf, but i thought its £35, let me go to ebuyer. ebuyer advertised VA specs, but i checked on friday and my monitor was only a sh!tty TN panel. so i RMA'ed it, and its within 28 days, so they took it form me yesterday adn are looking int he warehouses for a VA to replace it. but now im stuck on my old crappy 17" crap, its so hard to play games, with a big widescreen i felt immesered as it would nearly take up my whole vision, with this i feel liek i am not immeresed, and it feels crap to play. (and more square than i ever thought.
I know, you don't think standard monitors are bad until you go widescreen... Realistically, I don't think there'll be a vast difference between TN and S-PVA, but I'm kind of spoilt using S-IPS, and there are no TN monitors this size to compare to, so I can't be certain about that. Abuzar: Does your laptop get five figures in 3dmark? no, didn't think so.
Hello everyone, I'm new here and I thought that I'd share my Dream Machine. Its a basic but powerful setup, that probably needs other parts to be complete and all the prices are after discounts and rebates. Lol clearly someone wasn't paying attention. Besides, would a Skulltrail board fit in that case, and would Skulltrail even work that well with SLI?
LOL, the case is just a personal preference, I always liked the clear acrylic cases, and they look cooler with all the crazy lighted fans, cables, etc.
Skulltrail works with SLI but it gets WAY too hot, you cant OC on it, and it gives lower performance than, say, using X48 or P45 mobos.
Yeah, towers with side windows are cool too, but I've always thought towers that are all clear are cool. I'm also thinking about getting a clear power supply from SVC as well. Also acrylic cases are easy to disassemble, I'd have to check to see if I can find a full-tower clear case though.
Acrylic cases are poorly cooled, Bigwill found this out, they're not very good as cases, and they scratch easily. The only companies that make clear power supplies are companies like Apevia, and trust me you do NOT want their PSUs. Avoid clear power supplies, they're deathtraps, and avoid clear cases, they're bad. Just because something looks cool doesn't mean it is cool!
