the only thing wrong with it is that there are much better softmod installers than itools such as SID or nDure

Hey I'm gonna play with your link and its instuctions, I Didn't mean to be rude, however I think this tuturial is great and if you've got somthing to share more power to you. We are here to help one another and its always nice to share your knowledge, and obviously you are interested in modding X BoX's. If you've got somthing to contribute thats grand. X BoX has lots of potential, and theres not just 1 way to do it. This is one of the only threads I'm subscribed to and I Like to help people like people helped me before and give back what I can. Gone......................

I just want to say to all you softmodders it is very important to back up your c drive and your eeprom.bin before you do anything else. Just FTP it to your comp and burn it on cd right away. Ive been browsing on alot of sites and read alot about people deleting their dashboard or the dreaded "xboxlive updater" coming on when you start up. BACK IT UP. Also look into xboxhdm make a copy of your c drive after the mod and make an xboxhdm boot cd(with your eeprom on the cd). This will save you lots of hassle trust me. Any questions just ask or pm

You dont need to save it to the memory card to ftp it. Your hardrive probably doesnt have enough room for halo thats why you get the error.

Action Replay has been discontinued in Australia. So much for that idea. Anyone got any other ideas on how to softmod without action replay?

Apparently, most xbox acessories have been discontinued. I can't even get a memory card any more. Luckily, I found this thing called "Xploder". It's pretty much the same thing as ActionReplay. I softmodded earlier today. Everything works fine, but I'm still having some troubles else where. See my new thread for details on my problem.
