    hello i removed some updates on my thinkpad (don't know what they were) and it won't boot up any more

    if any one could help my it would be apprieciated

    i have a mouse problem so cant boot from disc

    moved to correct forum. what mouse are you using as in internal, ps2 or usb? what windows are you using?

    it is a trackball and i am using xp

    try a ps2 mouse to see if it works.

    i have tried but i cant get it to read from a disc to format it because the trackball error keeps comin up

    disable the trackpoint in the bios so you can use a regular mouse.

    i cant get to the bios it just takes me back to the mouse error every time i tell it to go to the bios
