Its a LG RZ44SZ80 Projection DLP TV. I’ve had the set for just over and year and apparently it is out of warranty....!

Since last morning It is showing the three blinking lights. I have checked it out in manual as I have understood its a bulb problem....

Somebody told me its a ballast problem. I am totally confused.

Is there anything that needs to be done like a reset or anything or will it work? If have to replace the lamp then how much cost it would take?

As I said its just over and a year to have this set.

    Any Help!

I think a new lamp would be around $200 give or take. I'd replace the lamp first as that's more likely than a bad ballast. Even if it is a ballast you can always use the new bulb down the road. You're best bet is to go with what the service manual says, or call their customer support.
