tilde key not working ingame

    in crysis and morrowwind it says to use tilde key to bring up console, i do and it doesnt work!! i even tried it with shift, but i can type it ~~~~~~~~.... i got a us keyboard. how do i fix this

    You press the ` key next to the "1" key on the keyboard, or you can assign it in the options menu I think.
