im trying to shrink a huge dvd, that clocks in at more than 5 hours, and dvd shrink wont let me compress it enough to fit all of the target onto a single blank dvd+r. even if i omit the special features, which doesnt free up enough space anyhow. is there one simple solution to get all of this file on a blank disc?

I remember reading somewhere on here about 2-pass shrinking. Its where you run it through Dvd Shrink on one AEC setting then again with a different AEC setting. It had something to do with I frames and P frames, something like that, it was late when I was reading it. Do a search on it or you could always just trial and error it. Worst case is find a friend with a DL burner and drop 5 bucks on ebay for a blank DL disc.
