I am getting the message: The mpg file you create may be larger than 4gb. Software player or authoring software may not recognise this file properly. Is there anything i can do about this?

Basically this warning is because on FAT32 filesystems (which is mostly Windows 98 - Windows ME) there is a 4GB limit on filesize!

However, I have a feeling the problem here is that you are encoding from an AVI to SVCD or DVD??

Well the problem might be that TMPGEnc might be overestimating file length.

If this is the case, check out this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/40101
