I had some problems when I tried to encode AVI to Mpge using TMPGEenc. I didn't have audio. Then folk around here in this forum told me to change environmental settings (directshow)to higher priority so audio files could be loaded during enconding.
what happens is that now the application (TMPGEenc) simply freezes or crashes, I dont know. I have reset the program many times but it doesn't work anymore.
    what's going on?

I couldn't even get that to work at all! It won't open any files unless it's a specific frame size. Pointless? I think so.
