I have tried to encode a DivX file with the above software, but it came out with no sound. I had selected the system (video + audio) option, so I can't understand the problem. Is my sound hidden somewhere else or do I need to select the ES (audio + video) option to create two separate files? Additionally, once I have my MPEG files, which software is best to burn to DVD+R? Nero appears to want VOB, IFO or BUP files. Additionally, one piece of software I haven't seen mentioned in the forums is Adobe Premiere. Does anyone have any experience of this, and if so could they please give their opinion?
I tried this as well. Try the audio and video files seperatly with TMPGenc and it should work. I done this with Clockstoppers and it came out OK but a bit jumpy in places.... Pioneer 104 / DVD-R
Cheers. I am now using Nero Vision Express with the mpeg / DVD plug in. This does everything for you, converts DivX files to DVD, burns the disc, even allows you to easily divide your film up into chapters. I recommend it to anybody.
