I've been using TMPGenc for a while now, and always loved it...

However, I got a virus on my computer and had to reload everything on...Since I've downloaded TMPGenc again and installed it, I can't seem to get the settings right...

Before I could take and avi and reduce the birate so it fitted onto 30% of this disc, and the birate was around 2010...

I now have an avi and its automatically putting birate at 1875 and this is at 99% of the disc...

I'm doing everything the way I did before and always used the wizard on startup...Choosing
    NTSC low resultion
    MPEg layer 11 audio

Any ideas, really need this program badly

audio is in vbr, it confuses tmpgenc.

get virtualdubmod. demux audio. when it ask to rewrite header to cbr don't do it. it will get the audio out of sync.

then use an audio encoder such as dbpoweramp or headac3he. and decode to wav. or transcode directly to mp2, both tools can do this.

or if you want a decoder for tmpg, i know theres one out there...
