TMPGEnc cannot open video files

    Whenever I try to open a video file an error always occurs and mention the file can not be open ,or unsupported.What should I do help me pls...

    Just means that you are missing whatever codecs/filters are required to open it. If it is an avi then you would be missing a VFW decoder.

    Then where can I find the VFM decoder???

    Depends on what it was encoded with. VFW = Video For Windows, it is an interface. You would need a specific VFW decoder for whatever video stream your file contains. Although for instance XviD's VFW decoder can handle DivX 5.x and ffdshow's can decode a lot of different formats, including XviD and DivX.
