tmpgenc conversion

    what setting do i use to make an .avi to a mpeg-2 file? Every time i try it it always has no sound? help plz

    You either don't have the proper audio codec or it's AC3 and you're using TMPGEnc.

    For codecs, check out the link on this site or try dvdrhelp.com.

    If it's AC3 and TMPGEnc, just use a different encoder.

    Hi, All you need to Do is Decompress the Audio in your AVI file...If you PM me with your E-Mail address I can send you a Little tool that will Decompress the audio in your AVI file so you can then encode it to Mpeg useing Tmpgenc....
    If the Audio in your AVI file is AC3 then the Tool I have will also decompress the AC3 audio, and if you install this Filter you should be able to encode AVI files with AC3 audio Directly in Tmpgenc, It works for me...
