tmpgenc help with file size

    i am trying to convert a video(divx) file to mpeg2, and when i get to the forth page of the wizard where you can adjust the the encoding settings of the video the video is to big for the dvdr disk. what should i do? should i convert and then use dvd shrink or is there an easier way?

    i did tune the bitrate down but i couldnt get it small enough to fit on the disk

    i was using that guide already and the file is still to big. any suggestions? thanks in advance.
