TMPGEnc .mp2 no sound after conversion!?

    i dunno why this is happening now, but after i convert, the .mp2 file that is supposed to have the sound doesnt have any... can sum1 please help

    I am running into the same problem with TMPG

    Converting Xvid back to MP2 and get no sound :(

    Waited 4 damn hours for it too work and get nothing. AAARRGGGHHH

    i changed the enviornmental settings in tmpgenc and still no sound...?

    edit: i also hav FFdshow installed

    Use VirtualDub (or other program) to extract audio into wav file.
    After that start conversion with TMPGenc but for audio choose wav file you created with VirtualDub.
    I do that with DivX movies.

    no can do... its an Xvid, not DivX... is there any way i can get the .avi audio a different way?
