I just finished encoding a file but it ended up being 5.25gb. Is there any way to get this on a dvd? Is there any way to put this on a dvd? Any software to make it smaller?

I take it your talking about a DVD Movie...
What kind of files is it? MPEG, AVI etc or is in DVD Compliant files eg VOB's IFO's etc

If its in DVD Compliant files, you can run it through a program like DVD Shrink which will do it in a fraction of the time.

If its in the others, you will need to re-encode the files, which is hours of waiting
