TO CHOOSE BETWEEN 2 DVD WRITERS

    Good Day,

    I have to change my DVD Writer & I wanted to know which one is better between the 2. I will use it alot.

    NEC (AD-7170A) 72.56$ CAD TX INCLUDED & SHIPPED
    LITE ON (LH-20A1H) 87.38$ CAD TX INCLUDED & SHIPPED

    Personally I would go w/ the LiteOn. Booktypes right out of the box and has faster ripping speeds.

    NEC is a good drive too but would need patched firmware for booktyping.
    NEC - older ones at least- had riplock on them decreased the rip speed. Not sure if the newer ones do - but patched firmware usually removes this too.
