hmmmm i'll take all of the above but yeah tool is awsome, Maynards voice cannot be duplicated, so much so that when you sing along with some of their songs it sounds like your strangling the cat
yes thats very true, no one has a set of pipes like maynard. i have their first demo, sober is on it and it sounds totally different, proving it all comes down to production (or how the label will want to tweak your stuff before they put it out). still good, but a far cry from the sober of undertow.
