    ok if you came in here thinking craftsman or snap-on, not that kind of tool. i'm refering to one of the coolest bands ever - TOOL. lets hear it, how has tool made you happy/miserable/ made you kick your dog/ bury that bitch of a wife, whatever.

    never heard of them.... BUT if they play music such as sum41 yellowcard or thrice kind of music i like them already :D....

    OMFG!!! you've never heard of TOOL?? holy sheepshit batman!!! strip this mans senior status and boot him from the IRC channel!!!! j/k, dude you need to hear tool. they make the bands you mentioned look like Lawrence Welk!

    but yeah tool is awsome, Maynards voice cannot be duplicated, so much so that when you sing along with some of their songs it sounds like your strangling the cat

    yes thats very true, no one has a set of pipes like maynard. i have their first demo, sober is on it and it sounds totally different, proving it all comes down to production (or how the label will want to tweak your stuff before they put it out). still good, but a far cry from the sober of undertow.

    yeah your right darth, in tools older shit maynard does sound different but still very unique, i remember when i saw them play live a few years ago all the people trying to sing along with some of the songs, it was fkn funny as hell you had to be there ;)

    when i read that you hadnt heard of tool i thought i was reading it wrong as well =P.

    o good one :p .... but still... im not into the 80/90s rock... i only like iron maiden n thats about it... from the rest of the 80/90s... i love most of 80s music best quality in music ^_^... not the shit we got right now...
