Transfer video from DVR to PC

    I have a Motorola DCT6416 III and I would like to transfer video files from it to my PC to burn to DVD.
    Any1 know how to do this?
    I have a HIS IceQ 4670 Turbo Graphics card with dual DVI and an S-Video connection.
    If I can take the HDD out and plug it into my computer I'm willing to do this, as long as I know I won't damage the DVR's HDD. And if I would need additional software please list it.
    No I do not have or plan to get a DVD Recorder for my TV. and I do not have any video capture hardware or software.
