Transferring music from a disk to Itunes

    I need some advise on how to get all of my music from a disk to itunes. I can get music to real plyer but can't get it to itunes so I can put it into my nano. Please help!

    would this be a regular audio CD or some cd you made yourself?

    1. Fire up iTunes
    2. Insert cd if you haven't already done so, it should then show up on the left side of iTunes, it may also ask you if you want to import the CD, mine does at least, if it does click yes or ok and it will start importing.
    3. If not, select the CD from the left window (under devices) and you should see a button on the bottom left that says "Import CD", click it and the import should start.

    *note: this is for iTunes 7 using a normal CD

    if these are mp3 in the disk, just add these files into iTune library, if it's a cd disk, like johnblaze said, you need to convert them first.
