OK...I have a movie that I backed up using DVD Shrink and Nero. I copied over the title over to backup. As a result, there are no menu items when I play it back. The movie worked fine until recently. The kids informed me that the language had changed. As I said, there are no menu items on the DVD so I cannot change it back to English, and also can not change it to the foreign language

The tricky thing is that on one of my DVD players (BenQ) it plays back in a foreign language, in the other DVD player (Pioneer), it plays back in English. Any clues on:

    1. How this could have happened
    2. How I can revert it back to English so it works on the BenQ?

    Thanks for your help,
    JL

I'm certainly not an expert in this area, and I do not know how to fix your problem. There is a DVD authoring forum here with some FAQ files.

Otherwise, can you change the type of audio the player uses? Maybe one type, say Dolby is in English, and another type, DTS, is in the other language--just guessing--
