    Hi

Ive been having problems burning DVD movies (data discs burn fine)
and after posting in the Nero forum i have finally got to the bottom of it...

The problem is that my DVD Drive is set to RAID (even though its plugged into IDE on my motherboard) and i dont know how to change it back.

Apparently it needs to be set to IDE and have DMA on (sorry if that sounds wrong, i dont know that much about this)

Here is a picture of my device manager - see how it says SCSI CDRom.. im sure it never said that before

It did work fine before but at some point recently this has all happened.

Here are the 2 posts i have made in the Nero forums, both containing Nero Logs and more info

This is the motherboard i have

    http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=6&id=1427

    It has 3 IDE sockets

I have 2 hard drives connected as master\slave to IDE 1

Then my NEC 4550 DVD drive connected to IDE 2

It says something about IDE sockets 2 and 3 having RAID.

But im not sure if this means they are RAID only? If so that would mean i shouldnt have my drive connected to either IDE 2 or 3

Can anyone who understands all of this help?
