im having trouble with my disc which have been recorded using a cyberhome 12000. everythings fine watching and recording on the cyberhome but when i try to rip the disc using dvdshrink it comes up "disc has css encryption" and if i try to reauthor it will read the disc but only put one file(like say if i had a few episodes on disc it will just put up one). the discs are showing up as MTK recordings. is there anything i can do to rip and copy the discs?. and is there any settings on the dvd recorder i should change for the encryption?.hope this makes sensethanks
well css encryption are on most DVDs that you rent, so you should be able to go around them just like the rented DVDs, try using a program like DVD43free or DVDFab decrypter, both are free and work on most movies....
