   I'm trying to rip a dvd to svcd..I've gotten to the point where I do the batch encode in TMPGEnc and I'm told that " Result: ssrc.exe can not be used as external encoder." I've tried to use other encoders but nothing works...Any thoughts on this would be helpful..

   Your audio settings in TMPGEnc are messed up -- for some reason, you have put SSRC.exe in audio tab as your MP2 encoder -- and ssrc is not an encoder, but a tool that changes the audio frequency instead. Fix this and it will work.
