I am attempting to burn .img file onto dvd-r. After ripping with MacTheRipper, compressing with DVD2one, and imaging with DVD Imager, the .img file is 4.34 which should be able to be burned onto a DVD-R 4.7 GB with no problem. But when i select "Burn Image" from disk copy, select the image, and then select "Burn" i get an "Error 22" message, and i'm unable to burn. So i repeat the process and compress the DVD to aprox. 4.1 GB which should be pleanty small enough to fit on the disc, but still receive the same error message. I've burned about 20 DVD's without any problem using this same method, but suddenly i'm encountering a problem. Also, i did just install OS X 10.3 on my computer... could the problem be that Disk Copy was not configured right in the new OS? Sincerely, Confused and Frusterated PS if i can do it with Disk Copy i'd like to, but if Toast 6 Titanium will work, i could use that too...
1 Open Disk Utility 2 Press the "Burn" icon 3 Select the DVD image 4 Burn it You can also use Toast but you should be able to do it using Disk Utility. Try another DVD to check whether there is a problem with that particular DVD or it is happening all the time in which case i would reinstall 10.3 and apply the combo 10.3.4 update.
That did it. Was, orignially confused because i kept on trying to use the older version of disk utility which has no "burn" icon. After discovering the newer version of "utility" burning is a snap again! Thanks Londor.
