Using Adobe Premier 6.5, would someone please explain to me how to get video from my camcorder on to a dvd. I do not wish to edit or do anything fancy. I just want to preserve what I have recorded on my camcorder to dvd at the best possible quality and be able to play it back in a dvd player. As you can tell, I am very new to this and would appreciate any help!

Adobe Premier 6.5 is a professional application with a price tag of $700-$800. Either you are a newbie who downloaded some sort of trial (or "Dark Trial") or you are a Pro with some serious issues. I've never used Premier Pro, but I have used the Premier Elememts 1.0 that came bundled with my PhotoShop Elemnts 3.0. I didn't use it much since I was already using a simpler tool that met all my needs. If I remember correctly, somewhere under File menu there is a Import DV option. Your camcorder must be on and conected to your computer via Firewire port (or Sony I-Link) when you click on the option. After importing the video, good luck with it because I found it kinda complex for the things I needed.
