Hey everyone, am in real need of help here, and I've got a unique situation lol.

Right I don't want people to jump to this reason but I have windows vista, back to that point in a minute.

I follow instructions but when I double click on the control center or whatever it will say error 0xc0000005 or something which i believe is a memory violation. Ive looked it up to my best ability and haven't found much, could be a missing .dll but ive downloaded the same packs as everyone else.

Also at the end of the setup it tries to do the service thing ASWLSVC but it will say it already exists (i guess vista are trying too much to be prepared lol as i never had a router product or nuttin.

That's about it oo and the fact that with the new drivers my nintendo thing is yet to flash??

Please people help me I spent a ton on the psp cant be bothered to spend more lmao.

    Hello

i've got a really weird problem:

When i install the usb wifi stick with the modified buffalo drivers, it misses a file, rt25usb.sys... and it wants to get it from the Nintendo wifi installation cd ???¿¿¿

When i copy the file that comes in with the rar (rt2500usb.sys) into the file it wants, it installs, but when i want to set everything up in the asus utility, it wont go to softAP mode, everytime i click aply, it goes back to station mode !!!

    HELLLLPPPP!!!

(on my previous computer, it worked fine.. but on my new system, it won't go. Windows XP sp2 installed)

...In the "nin_wifi_Fullpack" thing it has a folder called "Drivers".
Try looking in there for your answer

Uh... I need some help. I followed the instructions and downloaded and viewed the video, amd the only difference between what it shows on my screen and what it shows on his is that there is a green radar symbol thing (sorry, I'm new to networking). When I attempt to connect my PSP to the Nintendo USB, the ASUS panel says that 74 bytes were recieved, and on the PSP it says "The access point was not detected" Please Help Me!

Try changing your IP address to something like:
    192.163.6.1
    And
    192.163.6.2

    For the Connector and PSP.
    See if it works.

OK. now it can find the access point, but it says: " A connection error has occurred. A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again."

Okie. I'll try that! Only one problem...

You know how when you plug some USB thing in and it makes this _- (_ means high pitched, - means low pitched) sound?

When I plug in my WIFI connector it makes this _ _ _ (3 low pitched sounds) and it can't be read. What's up? Anything I can do?

YAY! never mind. Found out I disabled my WIFI connection to my WIFI USB connector. Lol. ;)

ALso kcblue. You know in the first part of the movie the connector is named "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector?" and at the end it's called "Buffalo...(something)". I installed it and I get this message:

What should I do then? And it also gives me this in ASUS:

Which with my computer knowledge (it's pretty good at age 14), It's a result of me not installing the drivers, right? But I did the exact same thing you did! Hmm.... should I make a video of me doing it? I have hypercam.

Maybe it's because I'm sending packets and not receiving packets... andbody know how to help??

What did you do? I can't get it to work to save my life! Does your Pc call it a Nintendo adapter or a Buffalo whatever-it-is?

    Here's my info:

    On PSP:
    IP: 192.168.0.3
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default Router: 192.168.0.1
    Primary DNS: 192.168.0.1

Local Area Connection (My DSL internet connection):

    IP: 192.168.1.97
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.254

Local Area Connection 6 (Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector):

    IP: 192.168.0.1
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: None

    ASUS Settings:
    Basic Tab:
    Network type: Infrastructure
    Network Name (SSID): Wi-Fi
    Hide SSID: Checked
    Channel: 1 (tried on 2 & 6)
    Data Rate: Fully Auto
    PS Mode: CAM

    Encryption Tab:
    Network Authentication: Open
Data Encryption: Disabled ( I have tried every possible combination with these two)

    Advanced Tab:
    RTS Threshold: 2347
    Frag. Threshold: 2346
    Preamble Mode: Long
    Frame Bursting: Disabled
54g Mode: 54g Auto (If I try 802.11b only, it switches back to 54g automatically)
    54g Protection: Auto
    Use Short Slot Time: Disable

    Soft AP Tab:

Soft AP/STA Mode: Soft AP Mode
Internet: Local Area Connection (My DSL Internet Connection)

I put in the MAC Address of the PSP

If anyone can help me I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

OK, I'm going to try to remove everything I downloaded from my computer, and remove everything Nintendo, (If there is anything) and try again, using the tutorial...

    Still could use help, though...

    Sorry for the double post.

Just follow EVERYTHING on the video tutorial.

If it's sending and not recieving, then change the PSP/DS and USB Connectors IP to something different, eg:
    PSP/DS: 194.168.3.1
    USB: 194.168.3.2

    Something like that.
