try changing the ip address of the connector and this should do it. Yours is probly 192.168.0.1 change this to 192.168.1.2 or the like just by changing the last two numbers eg. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 . Do this under Network Connections...then right click wireless network connections and click on properties, scoll down to internet protocol left click then click on properties and now you should see the address.

    Cheers, WD.

OK, I did it but I still can't connect to my server. What do I need to do to be able to connect to my server? Oh by the way on the DS manual settings what IP address do I need to put in?

    Hey guys,

I get up to the part where you have to open the control center and switch to Soft AP. Whenever I click on config and click on the Soft AP tab, this error pops up:

"Access violation at address 0057403F in module 'Wireless.exe'. Read of address 027A3744."

I press OK and everything seems to be okay, but for some reason the Enable ICS checkbox is grayed out, so I can't uncheck it. Anybody know what to do?

What happens if you try to go on... The other thing is ics must be enabled anyways. One more thing to check is go back to were you put the driver in and do this again making sure you overwrite the other

If on my DS I go to manual settings and enter all the settings, then I try the connection I get a full signal for a couple of seconds then I get an ERROR message 52000 that reads "Found access point but unable to connect to server." If I try search for an access point on the Wi-Fi settings it finds my router and its an unlocked green lock. When I touch it I get a signal for a few seconds then I get the same error code.

1broly1 - did you enable ICS? if so were there any errors?

Sounds like it IS infact connecting to wifi, but doesn't have access to Nintendos servers. just something to check.

    Here's how its done ...
Go into your ap wireless settings under the softap tab. You will see available connections ... just click and drag your local internet connection into the box above the enable ics . One other thing you should change is the channel from 6 to 1 if you don't do this a psp or other devices will not connect using channel 6

The only thing I didn't have was the channel set to 1 but I changed it and I still can't connect.

make sure its 802.11b and not 802.11g if this don't work try turning off or down your firewall settings and see if that works.

Just checking that you DID bridge the connections in the "network connections" window.

Also, My was on auto and it works fine, also tried it with 802.11G and 802.11B and all my stuff was able to connect fine.

Given I am not trying to use a Sony product, but I do connect my Wii, DS Lite, and Laptop. They were all able to connect with the different settings, just got done trying it.

I am actually even sharing my Laptop's Aircard to my hard wired network, so my desktop's and xbox are able to connect through one desktop running the NWC USB. Course None of the above work on Vista which is what my laptop runs, so I was forced to set it up on Desktop.

Good luck man, sorry for the problems, and that I couldn't be more help.
