I'ma try what you said wdclean in the meantime tell me ur e-mail so i can send you the money via paypal
start by going in and installing the drivers for the connector by using the device manager and right clicking on the unknown or nintendo usb adaptor under network connections this will bring up the the update driver wizard select no not this time then click next, now select the advance tab then next, now you will use the browse window to point to the location of the driver folder in the nin_wifi_Fullpack then next and windows will install the drivers and the connector will now show up as a Buffalo wireless lan adaptor. Just a tip unpack the nin_wifi_Fullpack to the desktop just for ease of locating. Start here and I'll help you along but I think once you got this the rest is simple. WD.
Oh by the way the vid using utube sucks as they tend to compress the video till its hard to see the fine print but I'm pretty sure what you have done. Great tunes and the cat stole the show, next time just use a screen capture.
wait so you know my problem? could you tell me how to answer, also could you give me a link to screen capture. btw i made a new one with more on time music i highly suggest you watch it and rate and comment pl0x.
Off the top of my head...ZD soft screen recorder is one and if you know how to find the keygens then all is good as they only give you 5 mins. to play....also give the search a try on site and you should find something there as well. Most important post anywhere other then utube like megaupload, rapidshare they leave the file as it was.
GOOOOOOD NEWS with help of another website and the how to on a video i got it to work and connected my psp BUT i want to know how to connect a laptop now...how to i? any thoughts? its my school mac but the connection won't show up at all. i named it "Wifi Usb" it works for my psp fine picked it up 100% connection strength everything. Could someone please figure out why it won't connect my laptop? thanks
I'm sure everyone here could anwser this but why would we, I've tried to help you a few times and it seems to me you just don't get it. This hack takes a total of maybe 10 mins. So if you think the other web site is so much better then I suggest to go back there.....as for me this will be my last reply to your posts all others are always welcome......... WD.
wow...the only reason i tried the other sight is because this vid didn't work on my computer i don't know why...i needed a vid for small details and that site sucked anyways only had the vid and no steps. plus this isn't only helping me theres been a few times on forums where other people have helped me by asking a question someone answers it and i look at that answer BOOM right there got the answer no taking forever to reply and word out your problem someone else did it for you! if i were in your position knowing a lot about stuff and stuff i would help anybody who asked no matter how many times they ask where there from or anything as long as they treat me with a decent ammount of respect. have i ever done anything? no im just trying to save myself a few bucks by hacking this and im also bringing it to a farther extent. im sorry that im not some sort of super awesome 1337 haxor...most of my expierience with things like this goes into hacking the systems themselves. and other small tricks. Im just trying to learn and get the better advantage of things like everybody else is here..
I tried this tutorial but I get stuck on step 2, I can't installed the modified Buffalo drivers because they're not compatible with my Wifi adapter, even though it's for PSP/NDS. It's an EDUP adapter, should be similar, but it just won't accept the drivers supplied in the tutorial, therefore the ASUS app won't load. What can I do?
The buffalo drivers are only for the nintendo wifi adaptor as its really just a buffalo adaptor. What the buffalo drivers do is just by pass the nintendo "DRM" and let it revert back to a simple Buffalo adaptor. What's wrong with the software that came with your adaptor?
There is no SoftAP software, it's only drivers. Theres no SoftAP options in the WinXP network settings. I'm just going to buy a proper PS3 wifi adapter..
How good is the signal on this? If I plug it into my computer downstairs, do you think it will reach my DS/PSP from my bedroom 2 floors up?? How good is the signal? Thanks!
Conditions very of course but 20 to 25 feet seems to be fine anything over this has to be in birds eye view. Remember number of walls, steel and other electronics all have input in your final signal distance. Hey great ? and good luck. WD.
Thank you for this tutorial, i finally managed to correctly connect with both my psp & DS lite (although it wasn't easy lol) Just one question though, does this hack work on Vista 32-Bit? Has anyone tested it?
I don't think so but I will try it out as my little girl is getting a laptop with Vista for x-mas, so as soon as I know for sure I'll post the results.
I am now currently stuck on step four which i have been for the past 2 days, I have installed the drivers correctly i have overwritten everything, but when i go to open the ASUS WLAN control center i get this error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). I have repeatedly uninstalled my wifi and the Wlan , but nothing seems to work, or is that that it is uncompatable with Vista?
i tried the whole thing and it worked great on my psp and wii, but not the ds. So my brother, without telling me, installed the nintendo cd that came with the connector. i uninstalled ASUS and the nintendo wifi thing, then uninstalled the usb thing using device manager. now i plug the usb in and found new hardware pops up. i set it to install form drivers in nin_wifi_Fullpack. half way through it says to insert the compact disc. this didn't happen the first time. when i insert the disc it completes installation but the usb connector is registered as "Nintendo Wifi USB Connector" not as a Buffalo device like the first time. Did i miss something in uninstallation. Please help somebody.
