I made my connection open, but now it asks me to set up a shared network with my local area connection and the wireless receiver thing. What now?

Supposly, she fixed it by uninstalling everything and reinstalling it again following the instructions(kinda)... First of all, I don't know where to start uninstalling. I did so much that I complelety forget everything I did. Also she said she followed the instrutions kinda... What did she hange in the instructions to make it work?

Instead of inputing the info just use the auto setting and see if that works

Go into your Windows firewall settings and under exceptions make sure your Asus Wlan Control Center is checked, turn your firewall back on and you should be fine.
    WD.

    Okay...now i have a problem.
    1) There was a little button in the taskbar telling me that the firewall was off, and i double clicked, it took me to "Windows Security Settings"
    2) I thought i could click "Do not monitor" and it would work, but i want it to monitor it again...

    1) Also, it's now not working when i turn the firewall off! i didn't change any settings? wtf is this?

    please help?

You shouldn't have to add it as it should already be there.

When it gives the option to select a channel to operate on in the Basic tab, instead of displaying 1-11 it displays 36-161. Any suggestions on how to change this?

Also, for the primary and seconday DNS server numbers do I need to manually enter what I want it to be under the TCP/IP tab?
