Hey everyone should take notes here ....Nice screen shot Vid...easy to follow. Your problem is that you did not click the "dont search I will pick the driver to install...Button . Other wise thats what you do....Good luck with the rest of the install but this seems to be the hardest thing people don't understand. WD.

Same problem here but I found a wifi update by nintendo and I'm going to do a little playing around and see if I can get it to work. Tried Buffalo but their in a court battle over the soft-ap issue so no support there at all. If I can crack it I'll post as soon as possible..... WD.
Hey I need help with the DS. I installed everything correctly and it works fine, but when i test the connection, it stays green then at the last second in goes red and the connection test fails. It says something about it finding the access point but not being able to connect to the server. Any suggestions?
i need help with this i got it working fine and ll but now everytime i try to conncet ot the wii it just says conncet ot internet
Hello, I followed all instructions and it (kinda) works. I can connect with homebrew-apps like dsorganize, lib_wifi and even the official ds (opera)browser to my SoftAP. So surfing is just fine with the ds now. But I´m not able to connect to the WFC to play online games. Everytime when I try to connect I get some "Error-code 61020". I don´t know, what went wrong, because in WiFi-settings on the ds the test-connection always(!) works as the homebrew-apps. And it´s not the Nintendo-servers, because I´m able to use the open WLAN-connection from some neighbour nearby if I´m in my bedroom and it works there. I´m really running out of ideas now and hope someone can help me! (I´m using WinXP SP2, Firewall off, Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector) (and sorry for my english)
hi, I have a question about the first step(the driver folder). After I download the Rar data I wanted to install the modified buffalo drivers of the driver folder but I wasn't able to start anyone. Maybe it's a nooby question but how can I install them?
HI i got the nintendo usb as a soft app to work a while ago (coz i just came back from a holiday). i tried to get on it last night but it wont work. i have been reading through the post ( not all of it, do u think i am crazy). i am using a nds to get it to work for homebrew and stuff. i am using manul setup. got it to find a signal but it wont connect. it will just keep saying testing connections. forgot to mention that when i go to status in the ASUS wireless settings and click on the tab connection under neath throughput (bytes/sec) the recieved box thingy flicks between diferent numbers usally 154 then to 0. any ideas?? last time i got it to work was just after i installed it. any help would be great. THANX EDIT: never mind got it to work for now anyway.
First off everyone seems to have problems with the first step which is to install the drivers for the connector. To do this you must extract the folder to the desktop for just ease of finding. Then have the connector pluged in and go to device manager and find the usb connector marked nintendo and click on it and select to install drivers for this. Now all you have to do now is point it to the driver folder you have on your decktop and windows will do the rest, and just like majic it will now show up as the buffalo wifi adaptor. Now go ahead with the rest of the process and make sure in step 5 to copy the rt2500usb.sys file from the directory it says and not from the wifi pack as its not the same file. I'll say this one more time, make sure in step 5 to copy the rt2500usb.sys file from the directory it says and not from the wifi pack as its not the same file. The rest is very easy and the whole thing really should only take 5 to 10 mins. This should help most of you out their as the first step is not that clear as to what to do. Good Luck, WD.
