ok a few months back (pg 32) I had this working. Since then I've had to reformat my comp and when I tried to do the same thing and reinstall all this, I can't get it to work simply because as soon as I share my internet connection as it says to do in one of the steps, my internet stops working....no pages load or anything. And so when I try and connect with my DS it says like 'connected to access point but not server...check to make sure you're connected to the internet". If I untick the internet sharing, my net starts working again. So if I can get past this I think I'll be able to get it all working again.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is it something to do with priority or something?

First off everyone seems to have problems with the first step which is to install the drivers for the connector. To do this you must extract the folder to the desktop for just ease of finding. Then have the connector pluged in and go to device manager and find the usb connector marked nintendo and click on it and select to install drivers for this. Now all you have to do now is point it to the driver folder you have on your decktop and windows will do the rest, and just like majic it will now show up as the buffalo wifi adaptor. Now go ahead with the rest of the process and make sure in step 5 to copy the rt2500usb.sys file from the directory it says and not from the wifi pack as its not the same file. I'll say this one more time, make sure in step 5 to copy the rt2500usb.sys file from the directory it says and not from the wifi pack as its not the same file. The rest is very easy and the whole thing really should only take 5 to 10 mins. This should help most of you out their as the first step is not that clear as to what to do. Good Luck, WD.

I've gotten to step 6 of the directions, and when I click "Apply", I get an error message saying "Cannot copy driver to system directory. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". But I've tried re-installing the ASUS utility, and I still get the same error. I'm sure someone else may have had this problem, but it would take way too long to go through 40+ pages of replies. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yup, with overwriting the old one like the directions said.

Edit: Oops...I put it in the system32 folder, not directly into the drivers folder.

Edit 2: I'm still getting the same error message
