I did steps 1-3, but now every time I open ASUS WLAN COntrol Center I get this message " Unable to connect to to the wireless lan card. The tray icon will be loaded once the card is inserted" How can I pass this probelm, I've been at it for weeks now.

I've been having some problems with my PSP and wifi lately. When I want to connect I have to do it 5 or 6 times because it says the access point is not detected. It works fine with my GF's wifi router so I don't think it's the PSP.

Anybody know what could cause that?

Saint, I tested your settings and the results were...

You know that wi-fi icon? the one that has like 3 bars... something like this... (facing the other way)

Yeah, well, it was red for like 3 seconds. then it turned green for like 2 seconds. then it went back to red and it had an error.

    PLEASE HELP ME!!

BTW, Saint, if you have an MSN send me your e-mail or add mine.

Hey, I'm trying to do the Nintendo wi-fi hack. I've followed the steps so far, I've got the modded drivers working, so my Nintendo wi-fi is now picked up as a Buffalo, but I'm having trouble on the next step, installing the ASUS control center, it crashes when it's run, saying "The application failed the initialize properly (0x0000005)". I've also tried installing the Buffalo Client Manager V, but at the end of the installation, it says "install failed" and when you try to run the program, it tells you the same thing. HELP!!

Yarghh! I've been trying this for hours!!!! But nothing works!
I've followed the steps to heart!
I've done everything exactly as I am supposed too!
I can even locate the USB thing by scaning!
But As soon as I test my connection, in claims that It can't find it!
I geta 51300 or 51301 error, which nintendo claims is WEP key issue, even though I am not using one!
Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong?

EDIT::::Dear god, I don't know what I did, but its working?!
I was aimlessly messing around with the ASUS program, and I tried to save a 2nd configuration with some of the settings I changed, though I knew it was futile, since those settings didn't work before. But to my dismay, when I got back to the setting page, the SoftAP, and possibly all my other settings were reset. So I checked SoftAP, nothing else, applied, did a Auto-Scan with my DS, and for some strange reason, it worked. I have no clue as to why. I try my PSP, and then put some encryption on it. I'll cross my fingers!

im guessing you know how to change ip address right? well under the NWCUSBAP connection properties change the
    ip to 192.168.0.1
    and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

    tell me how that goes

@saint101, i put in the ip address and my computer says that static ip is already in use but I click OK and then OK on the properties box.

I still get nothing - I also still get that weird error code on my DS : 52100.

Ok I extracted the .RAR file..
Then installed the drivers through the New Hardware Installation
Then I tried to install the ASUS files but I couldn't because everytime I click on one of the applications it shows this...

"This application has failed to start because ASUSW32N50.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
