im gonna brief what i posted

    stuck on number 7
when i check a box that enables connection sharing i get an error:

An error has occurred while Internet connection sharing was being enabled.

internet connection connection sharing cannot be enabled.
A LAN connection is already configured with the ip address
that is required for automatic ip addressing.

OK so i fixed my problem and i did everything......i followed kj's video and set the same settings as him :l thing is i am slowly receiving packets..........then it stops

    ethernet adapter local area connection
    IP address: 192.168.0.2
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    default gatewat: 192.168.0.1

    preferred dns server in internet(TCP/IP):192.168.0.1
    "shared"
ethernet adapter wireless network connection 2
    IP address:192.168.0.3
    subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    dns server left blanked.

    i added my mac address

have you got any firewall installed? you may have to add the adapter onto the allow all traffic list

OK, so I'm following the guide, but at step 6, it asks you to set it to SoftAP mode, then untick 'enable ICS'. After I set it to SoftAP, the box remains grayed out so I can't untick it.

Yeah, I ended up figuring it out after reading through the topic and finding screenshots. But the next step is being annoying, I tried something, gave the typical error as described, but I wasn't able to get the connection disabled without the dialogue freezing, and I eventually lost the Internet for about an hour while messing around. So I'll just wait and borrow a friend's wireless router or something.

    Hello.

I have tried so many times trying to get this thing to work, but I am having no luck. I have read the instructions, followed the videos and nothing.

Some problems that I am having that are affecting it are these.
When I try to share my internet connection I get this error:

"An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.

Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled.
A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address
that is requierd for automatic IP addressing."

Also when I start setting everything up as well, my internet cuts out on my PC. Is that supposed to happen? or can I use both at the same time.

Just an FYI, I am trying to get it to with my iPhone. I can see the WiFi connection, I just cant get a good single and its not sending any data. Also I have Windows XP Pro, SP3

    Thanks,
    Vuki

have you got any other connections bridged to the LAN? by the looks of it the NWUSBAP is trying to set an IP but it is taking the one of the LAN so it cuts it out, you'll need to manually set it. have you looked at the video posted on the first page i think it was?

As far as I know its not bridged. If it is how can I tell?
Yes I watched the video in the first page, and a different one he made as well.

I did exactly what he did and no luck.
