Ok, I'm about to kill someone if I don't get any help. Basically I have 6 episodes, meaning 6 different Xvid avi's. I converted them all to mpeg2. Put them all into TMPGEnc DVD Author and setup my menu and such. The resulting file is out of sync by like 3 seconds. This is pissing me off alot, can anyone help? When I play them as mpeg2, they are all nync and play fine, its just when I try to make them into a DVD that they are out of sync. PLEASE HELP!!!
Usually an 'un-constant sync' problem is given by the use of VBR MP3 in the audio stream of the AVI instead of the CBR MP3. The 'constant sync' problem is instead given by authoring (often the audio stream have a fixed A/V delay in DVDs) and this, maybe , has been put to a certain value by TMPGenc DVD author. The 'un-constant sync' is solved in http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/196299 . For TMPgenc DVD author it depends by its settings....
well i did that that message when i opened them on virtual dub that said, "vbr audio in the source avi file" from there i had used winavi to make them mpeg2s. i also tried making them mpegs with tmpenc. these mpegs played fine, its only when i put them threw the tmpenc dvd auothering program that the result sucked.
