    Been away for a while just wondering what is situation on tv in Ireland used to use a kriptview a 750 on a chorus arial or a star view 4 and get all channels what is the best way at present all advice welcome

    Well there are threads on boxs on here, Skybox f3, Hm9001 and loads more, but I would start reading if i were you as there are changes happening, not a good time to be getting into sat, if you are buy a cheap box, skybox f3 or f5

    if you are going into the sat direction a must would be a motorised dish.

    What channels are available on the normal box without any work done on it that be good enough for now

    all freeview channels, same as any sly box.

    get yerself a Combo box, Soarview and sat, this will give you all the irish chans + UK chans such as BBC HD, ITV HD, Chan 4 HD and lots more etc etc,

    Be weary of spending money on expensive boxs to share on or offers you will get, until you hear otherwise

    been reading plenty of negative posts elsewhere on the skybox/openbox boxes as cheap boxes failing early in life,do plenty of research before you buy and not with a 12 month gift,and with any gift keep details safely in case box dies.
