TV picture keeps fading

    I have a 55inch Samsung tv that is only 3 years old and Im intermittently getting a weird situation where the picture is fading from teh bottom up , see pics below

    Ive tried to factory reset the tv but that hasnt helped

    and as i said its intermittent.

    any thoughts or is the tv knackered?

    check to see if it is still under warranty. check with a local tv repair store to see how much it might cost to repair compared to buying a new tv. right now I think the back light is the problem.

    Does it happen after you've had the TV on a while, or does it show faded when you turn it on and then goes away after 15 min or so?
