I currently have a Westinghouse 42" monitor. It does have a built in TV tuner. I have comcast and I live in an aparment, but our apartment does not require a set top box. I wanted a tv tuner/or anything else you recommend that can work with my basic cable channels and that can also do HD. I am not sure if that is even a possibility.

My tv has HDMI,DVI,VGA, and component cable inputs.

Just for future reference, I have not found a specific model, but I understand a little bit more on what I need.

NTSC is analog - Old over the air signals
ATSC is digital - New over the air signals. High Def.
QAM tuner - Which allows me to decode cable signals for my television.

    I am getting closer!
