Ubuntu...

    i just got the installation cd in the mail and my computer if hardcore infected with a virus...is it possible to open up msdos or something and run the cd so i can completely just rid of XP? my computer freezes with a completely black screen and this _

    any help would be useful...

    I would just reinstall windows... Ubuntu isn't much good...
    Go read the other Ubuntu thread if you don't believe me...

    Imo, I think Ubuntu linux is good, btw could you give the link to the other uBuntu topic please, also which would you say, is the best linux distro? Thanks in advance

    i personaly love fedora core 5... think 6 is coming out soon. but there pretty good.

    takes a bit to get used to swithing from windows to linux but fedorafaq.com and fedora core intsalation notes makes it easer
