i seem to be getting a green screen coming up nightly around 12 am onwards screen freezing then booting up again any ideas sometimes i need to switch power offf at mains to re boot

 

wot firmware is on ur ev??

firmware is the software thats loaded onto ur box.go into main menu ,config,system info.tell me wot it says bside s/w build??

its black with a silver front

 

ok its the 2006 box.also known as the red box.go into ur menu ,installation,type in code,and press red button on remote,screen will go blank ,dont panic wait for awhile,should be ok now

 

thanks ive done it but i did a power scan before that and it didnt change anything

ull need to update the firmware on ur box.have u got a null modem cable??
