    same here
    im in solihull
    done a rescan channels found,but all im getting channel changed waiting for saving

    just done this and all is ok again

    Menu > factory re-set > password 0000 > ok > installation > select provider > automatic scan > exit to a tv channel > menu > 1570 on remote > turn keycode on > press ok on set default > exit 3 times > select a $ channel > leave to update

    leeds51 it went down at 12.23am but i got mine back on with in 5mins

    As I said in the thread title, a re-scan will bring chans back when they move, they will keep doing this until N3 is kicked in fully in your area

    i did a re-scan and most of the channels came back, but the sports didnt work, so i deleted them and re-scanned again....

    it did not pick them up at all this time....

    is there anyway i can get them back?

    using "the box" (API ver 4.54e_E....boot version: 7.0)

    Try to scan your box with no splitters on your cable and see if that works

    if this fails you must be in the process of the change over to the N3 which will be game over once this happens.

    thanks mate, what do you mean by no splitters? i just have one connector that i attach to the VM cable and then plug into my "the box" plus a scart...

    do you think doing a factory reset will help?

    (im in bham area, and i know many people have had to do re-scans today, and looks like they will be going off soon, but most have got all the channels back for now.....)

    factory reset is what i did and sports channels are there with the rest,for how long god knows now
    also bham area

    Connect your box without the Vm box on it then scan it that is what i would do after doing a new factory reset and turn the box off at the back after the factory reset to clear it properly

    i will do a factory reset, switch it off then do a re-scan....

    but i dont understand what you mean by connect it without the VM box on, as that is always off anyway??

    ok what i mean is make sure your direct feed is only going into your box ONLY and if you have cable BB take that off till you have your scan done then ya can put the BB back on again

    i did that, factory reset, scaneed again and it found sly sports 2, 3 and extra....but is is giving bad or scrambled channel on all of them, i have checked the latest keys and they are fine..

    i guess the game is up now then?

    It appears that Eurovox 5100 is working fine for the time being. I did a couple of factory resets and scans on the starview super and that's come back (all channels headed with TV***) on 3000 though. I guess the starviews are more or less done...

    I just hope the eurovox keeps going until man u v chelsea.

    Saying that though, April is only a couple of days away. It would be rather ironic for everything to shut down on the 1st

    there is nout wrong with the starview if 1 you have the correct firmware on your box 2 you have no splitters on your cable when scanning your box and before you do all that you factory reset the box first and turn it off then back on and carry on then even a BB split will cause the starview not to scan properly..

    also when N3 hits your area none of your boxes will survive they will all be dead with NO fixes for any of them.

    Very true e45, I was just making a point that's all. I'm more or less set up on the dreambox now so prepared for the n3 switchoff

    i hope its for Sat as there wil be no fix for cable on that at the present time !!
