UK Users - Nagra 3 - Where we stand - Are you missing chans, A Rescan is all you can DO? and Updated with N3 areas in UK

This is not a drop in center you are expected to do some reading as well we do this for nothing to help others but with an attitude like that i will be doubtful if you will get any help show some respect for others.

Also where have you been the last few yrs since this forum was done for the boxes mmm prob sitting on your arse at home feck you jack my box is working im not helping anyone out with there's so now your box is down and you come here looking for help..... well buddie help is here as long as you help yourself as well by doing some reading..... we are not here to spoon feed you.

 

for your information its the 1st time i've used this site and didnt really know what to do. i think your out of orderforyour post, but its to be expectedin thislife coz the world's full of dick heads.

 

im out of order for my post dont think so mate when you go to the shops the first thing you do is look around the shop for your goods you dont just walk in and say where is this well i dont and im asuming most others would not either.

if you want information everything is on google all you do is put it in th search box or in the top box of this forum because someone is a new here does not give them the automatic right to abuse people they where given the information and decided they would rather be spoon feed then read this is the real world here people on here do this for nothing giving their time freely to help people and have helped many BUT you also have to help yourself as well and read the posts not just the first one before you start posting yourself

Yes maybe you are right 3348mar, i know he has helped a lot of people. Its just that some people do not take into account what the person on the other ends circumstances are (Learning difficulties, child, just a bit green etc etc), there is no need for sarcasm. Anyway i apologise for my choice of words and hopefully it will not happen again.

I miss all the good stuff! The whole point of this thread was to keep folk informed of whats happening, what you should see happening and as each area goes, as best as we can report it, now, if someone just wants to skip to the end of the post / thread without even reading whats in front of them, thats their loss, yes everyone has a degree of learning and this can be done by reading and its been put as plainly and in as much layman terms as possible on page 1, there is no techno cobblers in the explanation on page one,

Now if some one posts " my box is missing chans whats wrong" in a thread that was set up to explain it, then to me they havent even tried to read page one and wants to be spoon fed the answer,

Help and explain something to some one as best you can, no problem, thats what we are here to try and do...... Sit in front of em with a large spoon I wont, especially when I went to the trouble to create and update this thread with all the info that they need and hopefully as clear and concise as anyone can provide

I have a quick question. Would I be right to assume that it will switch off around about 3 weeks after new card is received? (I'm in Birmingham).

 

it takes around 4 to 5 weeks before you start losting channels

Do not worries about files to fix nagra3 on our receivers
now satellite nagra3 is update and working fine maybe soon........

 

I would just like to let people know that my firmware version was quite dated so I updated to a later one and got all my channels back. I know its only a matter of time before we all go dark but I think I got them back as our cards haven't even been sent out yet. The firmware version I downloaded was v1.12. I hope this helps some of you as I really appreciated the help i got on here. I reiterate if you have not yet received your smart cards and you have lost channels its worth checking your firmware version and updating to a later one. Its worked for me for now. Sorry should have added my box is a starview box super usb.

 

for those folks, there is no firmware for older boxs, no matter what some one has told you

if you have old firmware and you update your box to the latest, this isnt a fix, what your doing is re-scanning and bringing in chans that have moved freq, thats all, but this is the first sign when your chans move freq, this is followed by chan loss, usually prem chans such as sports / movies / asian etc etc,

The only box working is the Kryptview with the I CONNECT attached and this is for the UK currently, the Sv6 is in Ireland working currently on the Nthell - 6887 network.

 

It may not be a fix MICAH and it still is only a matter of time but I went from having no channels to a full package and I will take that for now. It may be worth it for others to do the same thats why I posted the thread.
