UK Users - Nagra 3 - Where we stand - Are you missing chans, A Rescan is all you can DO? and Updated with N3 areas in UK

Right guys I have just had the virgin card through my door so now that my eurovox box will be useless I need to know my options. I have read on here about the new starview and kryptview boxes but I know there are satellite boxes as well that get all the channels so I was wondering if it's best to stick with the starview or kryptview cable boxes or switch to one of the satellite boxes? If the satellite boxes are the best option can someone give me link to get some info on them as I know nothing about them.

in my opinion stick with what you know cable starview/kryptview
but if you want to talk to one lads about sat well you can send a pm to mickah,e45,fintannl, or piopat
click for sat link you should get a few sat answers there
also with sat if you want the movies/sport you have to go down the cs route and it is very complicated unless you already know something about it
at least with the cable the setup is similar to the way things are setup for you now, all you need extra is the broadband going to either box mentioned above
all the best which ever box/route you go
but the decision on the box you get is yours

For me, based on past support and future support, this is the way to go in my book, read the thread and read again, if you are partial to the SV6 by all means, but for me, its has to be Kryptview, always was and will be.

Maybe but they had disappeared then i didnt even re-scan it. My mate just mentioned to me that a few of his were back on.

 

it is only short lived if they where gone they will be gone again its just a technical hitch but be asured they will go

 

The Kryptview 780 is mentioned in this thread but I can't seem to find anything about it on the web, nor where it could be bought. Any one got any ideas or insight?
