Hi guys not been on here for a while.

So i picked up in an earlier comment that there might be an update (for however long its gonna last) for the old sv 1 boxes ? Like to get that if possible.

I am in Bristol on VM and currently have 1 original vm box, 2 sv1 and 2 eurovox max. The eurovoxes are sweet but sure they will go soon.

i work for a large comms department and deal with loads of vm techs and engineers so i have been sniffing around. Not sure how accurate this is but i have been told by two different engineers that since the takeover of vm tv by s*y, that they are working on new cards for the vm boxes that are encrypted like their cards are, thus rendering all our boxes useless ! Again not sure how accurate, but i for one will hang on and see what the fine people of this forum come up with.

well there is no fix for the old boxes, but you never know what the future holds for them

that would probably be nag.3 they are talking about which is already in place in most areas now
you could also read up on the new starview.6 or the kryptview a780

ok so once i go all dark and my kids kill me, i can buy either krypt or sv6 box(s) and all will be well ?

there are rumours that nagra 3 has been cracked - anyone got any info on this?

 

must ne a nagra 3 egg as that is about all that is cracked

HI E45,look i know about eurovox are gone ,pls i have got eurovox revolution revolution ex6000 usb2 can i get the firware for now ,i know sooner or late i must get the A780 , i just need to save and get one soon.

Thanks Hooter007, can i dwnload the firmware straight to the bx by connecting it to my pc or to the usb and burn it? can u give me a direction?
