Lets just say it is off on a regular basis, just have a look around the forum and you will be able to come to your own conclusion, KV or SV - know which I would go for.

Personally i would wait a good few months to buy either and it would have to be a Kryptview A780.

Nthell and Spy are doing their utmost to ban these servers.
Changing ip address is going to be the norm for these boys so no wonder the servers are up and down. And even if the locale is changed the providers just need to setup blocks on their routers and firewalls to ban ip's from anywhere they like.

Besides if you are on their cable network it wont be long before their "traffic shaping" systems get upgraded to catch CS customers - the tcp/ip signatures are easy to capture!

It only takes the will and where there is a will there is a way!
We need a proper N3 crak!

you really dont want a starview 6 sorry to all sv users but as you will all accept ( if youve had it a while) the servers cack, poo, doesnt work half the time no support no nothing. my personal choice is the k780 its like ronseal does what it says on the tin and how its meant to

As I said I would wait a few months until the dust settles.

I know its hard I want a 780 myself but id rather wait and find out if the thing will work for more than a few months before things go awry.

Wait and find out if anyone gets prosecuted - keep an eye out on the news and here.
Glitches have already appeared for the Starview 6 and it was ushered in with a fanfare that it was the one that cracked n3. Now it doesnt look so rosey.

Personally I am waiting until i find out after 3 months or so how the land lies.
NTL are for sure rolling out the anti-piracy equipment - traffic shaping has already been installed successfully to limit the Bit-t boys. They are going to make a lot more money but as with all greedy companies they will want more and if putting the boot into the CS market is worthwhile to them then they will do it as will pie!

Well you where all warned about the starview from the start and in fairness the Kryptview box has been running on N3 now for the past 3/4 months without any problems.

But as always we can only advice you on what is working and best supported the rest is up to you
