sorry to bother you again but could you tell me if the kryptview A780 has an ethernet port to connect directly to the router the pics i have seen just show the port for the null modem cable?

 

kryptview all the way although i am biased as ive necer used a different new box my old starview was the muts nuts on n2 but when you read the stuff about starview 6 server and setting up then the krypt is a must buy, Fair enough its not hd but would you rather watch sd or no dee:S all in all kryptview all the way! and i bet not one person disagrees ahem unless one person comes in and starts preaching security and all that stuff thats bee going on for months lol

 

yes its hid cleverly took me about 5 hours till someone told me on here (doh) a 10 min job to set up and scan took 5 hours lol

 

all about reading and doing your homework

Just a quick question to anyone who might know. Does the kryptview a780 have a nagravision 2 emu included in the new software?

I know this might p*ss a few off you off as an annoying question but my new box came today and we are still on nag2 and i wanted to use the box in a bedroom for a while on nag2 without connecting the LAN

no dont work on N2 the box was made for N3 only so if your area is not changed over forget buying a box

Thanks for that. Although i must add that when i connected the box to the LAN the signal did clear so nag3 must be in stream in birmingham although funnily my eurovox and starviews still work also

Thanks for fast reply. I will have a browse through the threads mate. Also might be worth mentioning to members on here about the wireless adapters for the krypt + starview.

I have grabbed 1 of the vornets wifi bridges from ebay. £24.99 delivered simply plug into your pc or laptop throw the cd in setup the config and everytime the adapter is plugged in it auto connects to your network.

Now although there is no USB connection on the krypt to power these just buy a mains to usb plug which costs £2-3 again off ebay and you have your power source. Saves all these £50 mains networking plugs or very long ethernet plugs.

One more thing. These new boxes im hearing about DDIGITAL DUO are they a new group or just an old group who have relabelled themselves?. I thought they might be eurovox as they havent released an n3 fix as yet

located in st.helens myself, movies are gone.. music channels are gone..

although sky sports are still on? (not sure how long for)

and i havnt checked all the other channels such as geography etc as they are rubbish anyway!

 

hi mate, there is nothing "legal" about any box that receives channels.. unless its a paid for subscription from the proper people (such as sky, virgin)

my words "go down the legit route".. meant i was/am goin to SKY+ HD as soon as my box completely goes! - currently i only have the sports left.. which is lucky as that is all i use the box for! - so it looks like sky+ is getting delivered to me in the v.v. near future!

 

if your going down the s*y route you should have a read in the dream box posts
it can be handy to have some 1 to pay half of your bill ect..

i have been reading through some of the threads and noticed a few peole syain that the box's will only last a year something to do with an internal timer. does this apply to the A780 as i have just ordered one! thanks in advance.
