I wouldnt worry too much mate. As the 1 server goes down the next will pop up. This has been going on for years in europe and is getting stronger support of late. They are abit similar to these little men and their discs we all see in our pubs. As 1 gets taken down another takes over

Anyway thanks for the info about channels tomorrow. I will report back when all fixed. Im just hoping its in the afternoon sometime and not 1st thing. Saves me listening to the mrs having a disco at 7am

 

Just noticed there is going to be a Starview 7 out soon. Looks like same boxes just rebranded.

Anybody know anything of these?

 

yes they do not have a built in lan they use an external dongal to connect to the net and will also be connected to the starview server so now ya will have 4 boxes on same server

Since the maintanence I have lost both the racing channels. This is quite a serious loss for me, do you envisage them coming back.

 

best to check everything instead of jumping to post on a forum your first point should be your connections then your providers website to see if its an outage in your area then ya post on here

 

i updated a few days ago not sure if it was new firmware tho,as i havent updated for a while

 

he is correct though mine are gone too. Probably having a re jig again, I wouldnt worry about it the box and server has been stable for months, I reckon all will be fine soom

 

are they all gone or just some of them ?? all premium should be there

 

could only look for a few channels as my daughter kicks off when nick jr gets turned off but yeah checked 3 movie channels and there all ok. will have a full look through later when she is in bed lol i will post reports if noone has confirmed anything

I have checked my box and its basically all fine except the 1st cable channels that went off during the n3 switch

DISCOVERY

All the top stuff is working. They are fixing it as we speak i reckon. The demand has risen for these boxes of late and therefore i reckon they are upgrading their server to cope with the demand.

If this is the case well done to the guys at krypt for acting now and saving everyone a massive headache later on

Hi,

I have now purchased a Kryptview A780 from skywonder, I have just tried to get up and running using homeplugs (I have successfully downloaded firmware). The homeplugs are telling me that my router and box are not communicating, when I connect to my laptop, the homeplugs work fine.

I therefore think it's either the box does not work with homeplugs, all there is something wrong with the boxes lan port?

Any help would be much appreciated.
